Kaduna Laffs is a Definitiv Media platform created to help grow the comedy scene in Kaduna, giving new and upcoming comedians a live audience for their work.
Its bi-weekly Open Mic, held in partnership with Ploutos Restaurant, creates a route to the main Comedy Nite, where standout performers share the stage with established acts. Bishop Talk is the event’s main host, while HYAI 89.5FM supports the series through on-air promotion and OAP activations.
The Comedy Nite brings the Open Mic journey to a close by crowning a Kaduna Laffs champion, with a ₦1,000,000 prize named in the event material.
Croc City 5-Aside Soccer League brings football, youth participation and community connection together in Kaduna. The maiden edition began in 2021 with 32 teams from across the Kaduna metropolis.
Played at Ahmed Musa Neighbourhood Centre, the league created a stage for young players to compete, connect and be seen—using the game as a route toward talent discovery as well as community spirit.
The initiative later grew toward a wider Kaduna footprint, carrying its focus on grassroots football and the next generation of local talent.
Organised by Definitiv Media, Croc City Block Party is a major entertainment and community gathering in Kaduna, created around shared culture, music and the energy of the city.
The event drew more than 1,500 attendees and was sponsored by Nigerian Breweries, bringing people together for a memorable Croc City celebration.
