FG allocates 100 million for the construction of a modern mini stadium in Akwanga
The Federal Government has allocated 100 million in its 2024 budget for the construction of a modern mini stadium in Akwanga, Nasarawa State.
The project is set to be facilitated by Representative Jeremiah Umaru and implemented by the Centre for Management Development (CMD), a parastatal under the Federal Ministry of Budget and National Planning. According to reports, this project, the first of its kind in Nasarawa North, is scheduled to commence in April or May, following the successful award of the contract.
Meanwhile, the President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Ibrahim Gusau, has announced that a newly constructed mini stadium by the state government is set to be commissioned in Akwanga.
